Humbly sheweth that your memorialist was one of those who suffered in the summer of 1822 by Loving and Insurrectionary Slave Manned Tom Executed agreeable to the sentence and the Law and that your Memorialist enjoyed with the rest whose misfortune it was to bear the loss of property the (…) of the Legislature at its last session But your Memoralist aware of the little compensation she had received when compared with the amount lost, beg leave to approach your Hon. House and to memorialize you to grant should you in your this don’t see fit as further remuneration for the loss of property sustained by the Execution so justly inflicted of such her slave
